On this one day tour, you will visit the Akagera National Park. The tour will take you into the park to observe wildlife in their natural habitat, and visit the 5 spectacular lakes in the park.

The Akagera National Park is home to a variety of game, it’s an exciting reserve and there are plenty of animals around and the birdlife is quite exceptional. Mammals include a healthy population of elephant and buffalo, plus 11 species of antelope including impala, common duiker, defassa waterbuck, bushbuck, oribi, tsessebe, cape eland,and the rare sable antelope. Hippos are present in impressive numbers in the lakes and rivers, while zebra and giraffe still roam the more open acacia dotted plains.

Duration -10 to 12 hours,2 hours from Kigali to the Park Reception. 6-8 hours spent in The Akagera National Park and 3 hour from the exist,  back to Kigali. All of this depends on how much time is spent with the animals.
